Hello Lovies!
Still no date as to when my set will be in Member Review, but as soon as I find out it's gone up you will be the first to know!
So I've been mentioning getting some tattoos done in a few of my blogs and I figure I'd tell you exactly what is going on my back. After much much thought and discussion with my mom, myself, and the baddass individuals on this site I've decided. I'm not going to cover my back tattoo, I'm going to get it recolored and corrected. I was contemplating putting a dragon over it but then I realized that this tattoo I have is one of a kind. I designed it, and though it lost a lot of it's quality and symmetry being transferred onto my skin, it's not beyond fixing. I love the tattoo and I love what it means.
Every symbol that makes up the hummingbird on the left represents someone in this life that I've lost. The mushroom is for my friend Carlos who overdosed. The Celtic trinity is for my Father who passed when I was about two. The nautical star is for David, who was killed in a car accident, and so on.
Every symbol that makes up the hummingbird on the right is every individual who has blessed my life, The big flower in the middle is my Mom, the water lily going down from that flower is my brother Bobby, The grass in the wings represent my brother Brian. And so on.
There is so much history in that tattoo, and so much love and devotion was put into that tattoo that I couldn't bare to cover it. Its my tattoo, and I've never seen anything like it.
Promise this is the last update about tattoos until I get it, and my secret tummy tattoo done.
Much love,
Hopefully Yours,
Dizzie

I say keep it! My back tattoo is the same.... It did not come out at all like what it was on paper. I had it "fixed" a few diff times and I'm still not happy with it. Just a Big inky blob on my back. Yours looks farrrrrrrr better than mine. I think it's very unique and though it may be off to you I couldn't tell in anyway. GL!
