Okay, I'm a techno-tard I freely admit. I've spent the better portion of this morning trying to upload a set into the Hopefuls section but I've hit a minor snag. The first 12 or so pics exceed the max allowed file size even when zipped. Anyone out there know of a way to further minimize a pics file size? Argh, why must everything be so difficult?
In other news, the oldies are following me home. It's not enough they occupy my work day now they insist on being included in my personal life. As some of you may remember I work in long term care primaily with exceptionally demented elderly residents. Well, ironically the building I live in is populated primarily by older couples, widows and widowers. As a result, upon returning from buying groceries and some piniata supplies I heard a little german accented voice crying for help. It seems the little old lady who lives down the hall from me fell in her appartment, couldn't get up, dragged herself to her door and waited for someone (me) to happen by. Thankfully she was uninjured and another women came by to help me lift the poor woman off the floor and call her daughter.
I can't help but feel I was provided with a glimpse into my own future. Her appartment was immaculately clean and empty except for her and her two cats. I've fully accepted that no one will ever be able to live with me or be foolish enough to marry me. I know I will become a crazy cat lady and somewhat look forward to it. My only comforting thought is that I will have human companionship. My two girlfriends are quite similar to me in their miserable inability to find a man so we've all vowed to buy a house, fill it with animals and spend our elder years in a chemical halo.
Well, that's enough babbling for now. Hopefully I'll have some good pics to share after this evening.
Ciao.
