Wow today has been good. It was a good day at work, I got the head down and tore through some tasks that were annoying me. I'm now officially licenced to drive Teleporters and Cherry Pickers so I can add that to my long list of strange vehicles I can drive/operate better than I can my car. Cherry Pickers: fun to drive, no so fun to accidentally hit the drive forward button when you're at full extension 40ft up in the air. I swear, how I didn't crap myself I will never know.
Got home from work and after a small row with my Mom (this row is over some piece of excercise equipment I question the validity of and she thinks is Gods gift. It's nothing too serious, it's just ongoing), I spent the rest of the evening recieving good news.
First my crippling bill was halved by the company I owed it too because they admitted it was thier mix up that caused it so they kindly dropped the price owed to 600 and apologised for the inconvenience.
Then I got to talk to a bunch of my friends that I hadn't spoken to in a while.
My music player seemed to be stuck on "Awesome Mode" all night which made me smile even more.
And just prior to posting this I found an email tucked away in the Junk folder telling me I had secured
two tickets to the Leinster V Munster game in April (subject to confirmation. I applied for these tickets but I had to email back to get full info so I'll see tomorrow if I really did get them. I hope I did, I've been having a pretty harsh time with my sister lately, we keep fighting about almost everything, so this would be a nice olive branch since she loves rugby).
AND, my excellent Mom just made me a salad sandwich and some potato bread.
This day rocks.
