Ah 'tis nice to be back. However leaving Meath is never easy. Mainly due to the apalling bus service.
Anywho, the week home was fairly uneventful, beyond a lot of sleeping and reading my book I did sod all (in the tradition of all good holidays). Went target shooting on wednesday and realised I really need to get some practice back in with a long-rifle. My aim's gone to hell. No doubt hampered further by my football-battered left hand.
I also saw the car I want to buy. A show room in Navan has a Lotus Elise 111R in it's showroom for 15 grand. It's totally impractical and as an 00 model, there'd probably be a few things to refit in it, such as the timing belt, but damnit it's a LOTUS ELISE 111R! I've lusted after that car since the day I first saw it back in 1998 on an episode of Top Gear!
I would happily sell everything I own for that car. Even my Dyson vacuum cleaner.
