MOJO is the best magazine ever..
..and here is why. i tend to spend weeks on an issue, as there is SO much information enclosed. (btw.. MOJO is a british music magazine..to compare it to spin or rolling stone is like comparing smithsonian or the economist to people).
so this is the first in a series of posts involving bands/musicians i have been introduced to or reminded about via the latest mojo.
this is Laura Marling. she is a british singer/songwriter, who is quoted as saying (excellently) that "female is not a genre". she is only 18.. which makes her songs and songwriting and voice all the more incredible. and this is one of the creepiest-cool videos i've seen in awhile. simply gorgeous. do yourself a favor, take a few minutes and experience this.
