Strip City Sinners is looking for a bass player.
We have been looking for a few months now with no luck. Come on
Charlotte. Or is this area nothing but sheep following the latest musical
trend pushed down your throat by Clear Channel Broadcasting?
We are nearing completion of our album and are ready to start booking
our shows but need to fill the lineup before commiting.
If you look at our site you can see we do not need a 40 year old fat
man with balding hair a wife and 2 kids. These people we can easily
find.
We don't need someone who stands on stage staring at what they can see
of their shoes poking out from under their baggy pants. yet another
group of people in overabundance in this area.
We do not need a classically trained jazz soloist who wants to take
the band in a more progressive direction. Yes we have even had these
people call us too!
What we do need is a rock solid rock n roll bass player.
YOung, good looking (mid 20s preferred), someone with no major tie
downs (if you make $100,00 a year at your day job you are probably not
hungry enough to do this), pro gear (you dont play thru the clean channel
of a guitar stack!), desire ( we are not doin this to play at only
Charlotte area bars on the weekends for the next 5 years), and dedication.
We own our own rehearsal room and Pro Tools studio.
We have contacts and promoters waiting for us to finalize the lineup so
they can book some shows.
We have a debut album 70% finished.
Vast majority of all related business is done "in house" so many
expenses such as website design, recording studio time, etc is non existant.
We live, breathe, eat, sleep, suck and fuck rock n roll because if we
are still holding shitty day jobs at the age of 40 there will be a
bullet in each of our brains.
So please if you are out there get in touch with us!!!
