Well, I finally got the time to try to rewrite my book. It's called, LIVE'S OF THE RIGHTEOUS. For your reading pleasure, here is the first paragraph of the book:
As Laura sat in the audience of the tree surrounding her in every direction, she couldnt help but remember the one person she loved do dearly. What went wrong? She cries out behind a face of tears. How did this happen? Staring in space she starts digging into her backpack, to retrieve her fathers Colt pistol. She then bows her head in shame. Her long shimmering brunette hair concealed the weapon as if it never existed. I watched her from a tree as she screamed out, I cant take it anymore! The becoming silence was warming for the show I was about to see. Laura stood up with the gun tight against her leg. Standing there slouched, looking so depressed, I couldnt help but to feel rewarded. Laura then released the safety with her thumb. The once still silence now was broken by the sound of a single shot...
So what do ya'll think? Ya'll think it's got what it takes to be a book worth reading?
I bought my gun last week. A Ruger 10/22. I shot it for the first time today. Pretty sweet. It's like a pea shooter though. I think if I shot someone with it, they would just have a really bad week. I seriously doubt they would die. well, depending where I shot them anyway. Speaking of which:
How you like that shoot? That was the second shot I took to gage my sights. Isn't it fucking awesome?
