I was able to go to TWO sweet holiday parties this weekend. First was Midian's birthday party. Everyone was definitely in a festive mood that night, as the alcohol was a-flowing big time. I lost count of how many people offered me shots out of their bottles of liquor throughout the night. So I was able to sample a plethora of different kinds of liquor...from sticky sweet to the kind that is so harsh that you can feel in flamin' as it trickles into your tummy. So all in all it was a good night....except for losing my camera. YOU SUCK!!! (the effer who stole it!!!) Unless of course someone took it home on accident in a drunken haze which I would COMPLETELY understand....in which case I politely ask that you let me know. I am a struggling girl and losses like that are a major bummer to me.
Saturday night was my uncles 70th birthday party and I had a wonderful time. It was a HUGE turnout (about 150 people...I have a BIG family) and I was able to see alot of my relatives and do some long overdue catching up with them. My little cousins are growing up so fast...it's effin scary!! Little cousin Aaron is now 21 and a seasoned right-hand man for the Anaheim Angels. Damn that was trippy seeing him drinking beers with the rest of us. Little Kylie is 15 and just got a car for x-mas. It's still bizarre adjusting to seeing her with full-blown makeup on and little plaid skirts. She's growing up to be quite the heartbreaker. Craig is like "Damn, she has nice legs." And I'm like "Ew...she's only 15! Don't talk about my cousin like that!" lol. People there were also in a festive mood....there was a full bar, dancing, and yummy food... my entire family was actually loosening up and having a few drinks...that was really nice to see, as they are stressed and busy most of the time and are in need of a break. I had a great, great time.
Sunday I went and checked out some amazing christmas light displays in Huntington Harbor. That was nice...
And tonight I get to spend some quality time with my buddy SillyZebra. I know we are in store for an AWESOME time.
Tomorrow I requested the day off from work so that I might get nice and sauced up tonight, sleep in tomorrow as late as I'd like and then off to do some x-mas shopping, which I can hopefully wrap up quickly and efficiently.
So things are good.
Hope everything is going good for you as well.
