I wrote a Poem a while ago... I thought that Id share it on here. IM not much for showing people my writing. But I felt I could on here. Not everyone is a fan of Poems but I think that sometimes you find one and you find you relate to what the author was trying to say. Hopefully someday someone can relate to mine.

This Black Abyss That Is Me
In my mind its black
Theres a memory, broken
Only revealing itself to me
Like a puzzel that is my life
Peice by peice I see the truth
No one can help me, its mine
I wish it gone, but its always with me
Take the pain, like a knife in the heart
I bleed at night, no one can see
My soul is shattered, but i live my life
I want to scream but my voice is gone
My will to live is still here, no one can take that from me
I see a light in the black abyss that is me
I wake in the morning to a new day
The light is there, always shining
But the light can not keep the dark at bay
I love the light, stay with me please
Dont let me fall asleep
Another peice to the puzzle revealed
Please stop youve damaged me enough
No, you will alwys be here, you took what was mine
Biting at my thoughts like the predator you were, never to give it back
I have won the battle
You have lost your life
It was only for a brief time, but enough to blacken my mind
To me the puzzle will never be
Anything other then a memory
In my mind its black
Nothing more it will never be complete
I take it day by day
This is my life, an abyss of thought
You thought you had me but then you got caught
I hope you like the Devils fire
You will never be anything other then a dream when i get tired
I love the light God gives me
It helps my soul to heal
In my mind its black, and thats all that i fear
I awake to the light of sweet innocence
Peice by peice it reveals itself, it will never win
They will never know the black abyss that is me
