I start my new job tomorrow so everyone wish me luck. It's been a couple of years since I had to be anywhere at 8:00 AM. Please pray to whatever diety that I can make it through training. Six weeks of 8 in the morning. Then regular schedule at 9:30.
She IM'd me today. I was off line. She was wanting to know if I was ok and what was going on. That she hopes that we can talk soon. I have not responded. I haven't talked to her in 4 days now. We hardly ever go a day without talking.
I don't know. My heart is broken. This is worse then breaking up with a guy. Your girlfriends are supposed to love you no matter what. Longer than any man and unconditionaly. Not think that you are a whore who is self centered and only uses people. You know I have had some of the same friends for over 10 years and they don't feel that way about me. They have seen me at my worse. I just don't understand. They are actually floored that she could say those things to me. There has to be something else going on here?
HA. Well we are back to the lyrics form of communication. Music is such a big part of my life. Everytime I feel overwhelmed this song just speaks to me. Adam Duritz is one depressed mofo and it is scary how I identify with so much of his lyrics. The August and Everything After cd got me through 2 of the roughest years of my life. Sometimes that cd is the soundtrack to my bio flick. I totally understand how ol Margy feels.
Counting Crows
Another Horsedreamer's Blues
Margery's dreaming of the middle of the day
Tiyuri to win
Perfect Dozen to place
money is the matter that's been on her mind
time ticks by her one race at a time
She's tryin' to be a good girl
And give 'em what they want
But Margery's dreaming of horses
Lookin' at a green sky
Sun like a red eye
Bright blue horses are the fortune she lives by
She's tired and lonely
Scared and depressed
Her visions of one day go racing the next
She's trying to be a good girl
And give 'em what they want
But Margery's dreaming of horses
Margie doesn't say anything all the way home
So afraid she'll awake to find she's all alone
Margery's wingspan's all feathers and coke cans, and
TV dinners and letters she won't send, and
Every race night is shot through with sunlight
Trying to hit the big one one last time tonight for...
Drunken fathers and stupid mothers and
Boys who can't tell one girl from another
So she takes her pills
Careful and round
One of these days she's gonna throw the whole bottle down
But she's trying to be a good girl
And give 'em what they want
But Margery's dreaming of...
Trying to be a good girl
And give 'em what they want
But Margery's dreaming of horses
