i've been fired. i didn't go into work thursday because of the snow. go figure. fucking ungrateful, ridiculous bastard. to top it all off, he waited until i had driven the hour or so to work to have the girl i was taking over for tell me to call him...that there had been a schedule change. he just decided to replace me in the shift with someone else. bullshit, right? i mean, i was gonna be quitting soon anyway, so it's not a huge loss to me, but the reason why he fired me (and yes....i called. 3 times that day. he knew i was snowed in and couldn't come in.) and the fact that he didn't even call me before i came in to let me know, are completely ridiculous. but, now i suppose it's my turn to hit the unemployment office. fuck'em all. i've got better shit to be doing that driving to fucking raleigh to work in a shitty pool hall. like getting my g.e.d. finally....and practicing for roller derby....and losing some fucking weight. it's time to get shit done. let bygone bullshit be bygone bullshit. so, if things go as somewhat planned, i'll be a harnett county substitute teacher soon enough. or maybe i'll drive a bus?! who knows....
