The Saturday before Halloween, one of the local bicycle clubs (Rolling Relics) sponsored a Halloween bike ride. Costumes were encouraged, so in keeping with the theme of the club, which specializes in riding vintage bikes, I decided to take out the Racycle for this trip. It is, after all, an almost 100 year old bike. I then took it a step further, and wore an outfit that I thought fit the era of the bike. I was going for "Ace Racer." My wife wore her dieselpunk nurse's outfit, which had her looking sexy as hell, and also totally fit the event.
It was a fun ride, with a stop in Old Sacramento, and my bride and I got a lot of compliments on our costumes, which of course, seemed to match. A good time, most definitely.
