I posted this on my art site:
My artistic style has been changing lately. Looking back over the last 4 years of my Deviant Art account, I'm proud to say I can see a noticeable improvement over time. That being said I'm thinking about retiring this page and starting something more professional. Almost every submission I've made here was labeled as "practice", and to date I've signed my name on exactly ONE of these submissions. What I would like to do is promote this page as much as possible, and receive as much critique and feedback I can get before moving on. Thanks all.
THAT being said I spent 20 bucks for advertising. How it works is, 20 bucks gets me an ad that will last until 500 users click on it. Here was my ad:

I used all 500 clicks in less than 2 hours. I mean, I know I cheated...look at that ad and tell me how you could NOT click it. It's totally awesome.
My new plan is to start doing REAL artwork. Stay up to the wee hours of the night, bang yourself on the head, covered head to toe in ink/charcoal/paint artwork. And hopefully sell some prints online. Someday. Waiting for that talent thing to happen.
