Well, I finally made a decision about what I am going to do for Thanksgiving. My mom is going to be in India during that time, and so all of my friends have been inviting me over to their houses in and around the Bay Area. And of course there was the usual family thing going on in Sacto this year. But the truth is, I am pretty much burnt out on people right now, especially groups of them, in which I am expected to be social, funny, intelligent, sensitive etc. It has been a long and hard semester so far (but totally in a good way), and it is only going to continue to be so. Since my last lecture is scheduled for the day before the Thanksgiving, and my first final is a week after, I really wanted to find a way to use that time to study, relax, and refuel, so that I can just kick total ass on my finals.
The solution finally donned on me this past weekend, and so I talked to a friend of mine from back home, and realized that I can totally ditch the bay area, and go spend about a week at my house up north, and have the whole place to myself. And, I even have my personal care lined up for while I am there...which means I don't have to bring any annoying attendants with me...YAY!!! Solitude in the country. Nothing but me, my books, and possibly some single malt.

One "hires" me in whiskey anyhow.
And that add was long overdue.
