Well, I survived my week of pointless orientation. Although I managed to not actually see any of the SGSF folks all week, I still had a great time hanging out with an old friend, and meeting some new people. I can't say that I am wowed by any of my classmates yet, but then again I have always been a bit of a misanthrope so it doesn't shock me that this is the case. I have a feeling that I will warm up to them as time goes on though. The faculty that I have met so far are all incredibly cool. I have only met one of my professors though, so I hope the other four are as equally cool. The ADA office at GGU is one of the best run organizations of its type that I have ever worked with, so that should make the entire process that much smoother. I even, for the first time ever, have all of my textbooks in digital format. This means that I can carry around all of my legal books, notes, outlines and such on a usb flash drive. The nicest thing so far, is that I feel like the little bit of reading I have done (about 40pp) is within my mental grasp. I suppose that the only way I am going to know for sure is going to be on Monday, after my first class.
I could go into all sorts of sordid details regarding other aspects of my week, but I really don't feel like doing that now. Let it suffice to say that I think 2006 is shaping up be the beginning of a very good chapter in my life.
Now I have to go to the grocery store before it closes, and then back to my Contracts I reading.

That would be the day I have dreamed off.
Your schools sounds amazing. I love the all digital format. Plus I must say that I was not impressed at first by any of my peers in my program. But, after a year two of them have become some really really amazing friends of mine.
