I can not believe that I got sick on my birthday weekend! I haven't been sick in a while and a damn head/ chest cold decides to visit me on the weekend of my 30th! Seriously!?!

Well it slowed me down a little but I didnt let it keep me down! I was surprised Saturday afternoon by my guy who had everything packed and ready to go wherever our fueled up van took us!

We originally started out toward to coast. We stopped in Roseville to have lunch and drinks at Chevy's where I insisted he tell them it's my birthday so they would sing to me and bring me a sombrero!


Then we had to turn back around to get his wallet that he left at the house which lead us heading up the hill toward Reno where we stayed in the creepiest hotel that looked more like a hostel.


Once settled in (as much as one could in that shit hole), we hit up The Underground and saw a show with Black Rock City Allstars! The next day we started the day with a breakfast buffet and mimosas, then I played Wheel of Fortune (my favorite slots game!) and won some $$$, we hoped in the van and headed toward South Lake where good times were had (and seen by all!)!!
