last night i was on the phone with my niece who will be 3 in august and she was telling me about how she just finished watching barney and wanted to watch lilo and stitch and my mom asked for the phone back and in her most ferious 2 year old voice she said " No grammy I am talking to desiree, wait your turn." it was so cute
so that got me thinking about the happiest moment of my whole life. it was the day my niece was born. i got to be in the room, i was recording the event with a video camera which was bad due to the times i almost passed out. but after a very short 6 hrs of labor my niece was on her way into the world.it was also my most terrifying moment the head was the almost out and the cord was wrapped around her neck. i had to quit taping due to the nurse being the only thing holding me up but they unwrapped the cord and out came the most beatifully crusty little creature i have ever seen. i was overcome with pure emotion and cried for a half hour and kissed her little head full of black hair. i love my family.
