So the other day I was kick'n around a Goodwill store with my room mate looking for somethings like furniture for our Apartment, when I saw one of the coolest things that I have seen in a long time!
It was an old fashioned typewriter. Stamped/Cast metal, painted black, mechanical, round black buttons with the letters in a white seriff font that instantly reminds me of old black and white films, film Noir and things like that. It had that simple, bare bones, industrial, "less is more" style! You could see how almost everything moved and worked. It was just beautiful in the most nostalgic sort of way. Something that your grandfather still had in his den collecting dust, yet he refused to get rid of it since it still worked fine even though you honestly couldn't by ink tapes for it anymore.
In the end I had to leave it behind. You know sometimes, beauty is just to damn expensive and useless.
