Today I went out and bought some coloured pencils and a tattoo magazine. The plan is to send flash to the magazines that buy it $70 a sheet. Any money I can make while I stay inside on craigslist as much as possible. Anything to avoid job hunting underneath that oppressive endless fire orb. Except I got bad directions and it took me all day to find the art store (Thank Sid and her trusty Sidekick 3 for saving me. I should really get one of those things). So I ended up spending all day in the heat anyway... The city itself sweats and it all trickles down and pools in the subway tracks. Man... and winter will be just the opposite. New York weather is fucked up.
Then of course I come to realize my brain just does not work in condensed, crudely coloured, simplistic flowers, keyholes, knives and so on. This will be more difficult than I thought.
But coincidentally my roomates bought a scanner/printer today so you can see how my brain is working as of late. At least I've got this Kali thing down:
and my pride and joy:
Umm... I really ought to finish them...
Who knows when I'll even to see the one I was painting again, let alone finish it. Pesky thing is still a thousand miles away
I don't suppose anyone would be interested in buying any art?

You have nice linework, especially in #3. I am impressed.
