i'm having such an amazing week

saw a 'coachwhips' show which was so much fun. a friend (also of double dutchess fame) is touring with them right now. they're one of my favorite live bands. they set up on the floor in the middle of the room. i completely rocked out with them.

then i saw 'casiotone for the painfully alone' 'the moving units' and 'the rapture. fucking rad.
casiotone is adorable in his tragedy. he was wearing a puffy orange coat, sweating, his glasses sliding down his nose at his little podium on stage. he looked terrified. i cheered him on the best i could. he was super good. all his songs are about broken hearts.. aww.. and the rapture was damn good. i love that band. my current favorite i think.

a sweet boy in san francisco fixed my bike up for me while i was visiting. i love it, it's my new obsession. it's an old little black and white three speed. perfetto*
