ohai! i got my computer back! they had to replace the hardrive apparently. so i lost all my shit. luckily, i have backups! now i can finally work on editing some pictures that have been long overdue a lot easier.
and now you can finally see my tattoo! sorry the pictures kinda suck, it is really hard to take pics of your own arm. the session with night owl and lori was brutal. 5 hours straight. dr manhattan was not so bad, only took about an hour and a half, last night! one more session hopefully to do the background and touch ups, and comic book half sleeve accomplished and on the the other arm!
but nothing else really going on. same old shit. hope everyone else is doing well

And I would agree that reading the book first does help your enjoyment of the movie, sometime even the little things that have no bearing at all on the plot...like after rescuing all those people from the burning building, you see Laurie putting the coffee cups away
It's funny though, the (movie) ending is alot like The Dark Knight, in the sense that Dr. Manhattan is willing to take the blame for the good of mankind, just like Batman took the blame for Dent's murders in order to keep the people's hope alive that they can win against crime.
Oh, and thanks for the advice about #1
