I just took one minute to lend my voice to peace, and I'm asking you to join me.

After 22 years of war, peace is now possible in northern Uganda. Ongoing negotiations between the Ugandan Government and rebel Lord's Resistance Army represent the best chance ever to bring an end to this brutal war.

But there's a chance that this opportunity might slip through our fingers. There is just less than 48 hours before a crucial meeting that could determine the fate of these negotiations. Will you join me in signing this petition, expressing support for efforts to salvage the peace process?
