its about time that i updated this thing, i have been a little lazy about.... especially right after camping since i was still wicked tired from the trip.
last friday i went to see MSI with my non-blood little sis, an old friend of ours, and TReBlah. a good show as always. say what you will about MSI, but they really know how to put on a fun show.
last sunday i headed out to brooklyn to meet up with the always awesome Granny to see Ghoul play. ghoul tore up the stage and played a hell of a set, as expected. and it was great to see Granny and the guys from ghoul that i had met before again.
this week i have basically kept it pretty low key. minimalism has been making several great culinary concoctions that have popped into his head. two examples:
pan seared salmon fillets over tri-colored rotini with a basil butter pesto.....
proscuitto wrapped chicken breast stuffed with smoked gouda cheese and a side of roasted rosemary potatoes with a chardonay gravy.....
there is nothing like eating good like that
tonight i went to start the second part of my sleeve with jess at revolver tattoo. we kept reworking the design, since there was something that just didn't look right about it. we couldn't put our fingers on it, and then all it took was chuck looking at it and saying that the mirror reflection was facing the wrong way.... and then the problem was solved. we only got to do the outline tonight, but we'll finish up all the shading on august 15th. the pic i took isn't the best.... so what the tattoo is going to be is a vampire and his victim looking into a mirror, with only the woman's reflection in the mirror....
it looks so plain right now, but will be great once all the shading and details are done. that's how things progressed on the last piece i did with her, so this one should be no different
well, that's it for tonight. time to go to sleep soon..... let the tattoo heal up a bit..... and then find something fun to do since tomorrow since i already have plans to see clerks 2 on sunday night. have a great weekend everyone

Ha, I guess I shouldn't expect anything less from a man who organizes a gourmet buffet in the middle of the woods..
