Yo. Friday was the best. day. ever! Thanks to those of you who came out to see my bar! And to everyone who came out to the dinner! That was my first SGLA event as an official member! Thank you for making it one of the best nights ever! I just wish I could have gotten really drunk. Theres always next time thought, right? 
I went to a metallica concert on saturday. It was pretty good. The deftones and linkin park were ok. When I say "ok" that means they had good stage presence and the music wasn't all that bad. It was good. Those limp guys on the other hand sucked major ass! I hate them with a passion! They should just stop the madness and break up. Overall, the show was pretty good. Metallica kicked so much ass. They only played 2 songs off that crappy album st. anger which was good. Everything else they played was goood. word.
And as promised, here are todays Drink recipes!
Sangria 1 (Party size)
(chill all ingredients prior to mixing)
In a large punch bowl with a cake of ice in it, mix:
2 750ml bottles of desired Red Wine
3oz Curacao or Triple Sec
2oz Bandy
1/2 cup Orange Juice
1/4 cup Lemon Juice
1/4 cup Sugar
2oz Water
Stir until dissolves.
Add an Orange and Lemon sliced thinly
Add 1 qt Soda water
Enjoy
Sangria 2 (single serving size)
In a bucket glass filled with ice
1oz Triple Sec
1/2oz Brandy
Dash of Sour mix
Dash of O.J.
Pinch of sugar
Fill with desired Red Wine.
Stir.
Splash with Soda Water
Garnish with orange and lemon slice
Enjoy
Sangria Blanca (For the ladies
)
In bucket glass filled with ice
1oz Peach or Orange liqueur (Curacao and triple sec are orange liqueurs)
Dash of Sour mix
Dash of O.J.
Pinch of Sugar
Fill with Desired White Wine
Stir
Splash with soda water
Garnish with Peach slice.
Enjoy

I've only heard St. Anger off of the new metallica album. I thought it was okay. Im down for some new listening as always.
My brother is in some band called Blister 66. the music is pretty good. but the singer just screams too much. rather than sing.
He got some free tickets to the Metallica show. but decided to pass on it.
I've simply had me a bit of the straight white rum this evening. Seemed to hot the spot quite adequately to say the least....
