There is nothing that a big old cup if tea won't fix.
for me, making tea it's like a meditation process. I take special care to pick out my flavor, something that sites my mood our how I'm feeling. I fill the kettle with water and wait to heart the magnificent whistle of my water boiling, ready to put over my selection of leaves. I put honey on a tea spoon and slowly sir it in while I add a splash of milk.
There it's nothing better. Something so simple. So soothing.
I've had a shit day. Between a pregnancy scare and then ending up sick and not pregnant (thank goodness)...I've had a long obnoxious day.
So here I am, settled down with a big cup of chai tea, watching movies, listening to my daughters breath as she sleeps.... And I'm just thankful for the simple things.

I think I need to take tea a little more serious... I love it, but I could use the meditative part about it.
The simple things are the best.
