There's a reason I'm bisexual.
And I have finally figured it out.
I think men are too damn insensitive to women's needs... And we may be just as insensitive to men's needs.
There's so many communication barriers, that it's just so hard sometimes to get to the passion of love or into a deeper connection with each other. I have no problem getting there with a woman.
Men seem so concerned with sex, but fail to see how to get to that point with a woman. We may be "crazy" as I hear all the time from my guy friends about women, but we want the deeper connection. We want to feel needed and wanted and loved. THEN we are, of course, very sexually drawn to men as a result of feeling good about ourselves and our relationships. I don't think most men understand that. Everything these days is all about instant gratification, without taking the time to really enjoy a person's company or to understand and get to know the person they are.
And speaking of bisexuality...
Being bisexual does not make me a slut. It does not mean I'm going to have a threesome, cheat on my significant other, or make out with other girls for attention. It means that I like girls AND boys equally and enjoy both sexes on an intimate and romantic level. It means I can fall in love with a girl and/or a boy and be happy and faithful either way. It means I want something deeper than a sexual connection with either sex. And NO, I do not need to prove any of this by making out with some random girl so you can get your jollies. :/
I seem to keep running into obstacles in relationships because of this mindset. Always with guys too. Either they want to have a threesome with me or watch me with another girl, or they get pissed about me liking women and supppppeeeerr jealous of any girls I talk to, etc. UGH.
I just can't win.
