So,
I just got back from AZ last night.
It was way awesome to just get away from the daily grind. I really enjoyed my time away from everyone and everything. You can do some major soul searching when you're out of the world that you're used to. I spent some time alone while there, just driving, or walking.... And I talked to strangers which isn't a usual thing due to my social anxiety. (Also have to mention that the Phoenix Public Library is fucking amazing!).
I missed everyone while I was gone, even if it was just for a week... Friends and family are important and I am hardly ever away from them, so that was kind of tough. Although, it was great rubbing palm trees in their faces while they sat inside because of the four feet of snow outside. Hahaha.
I was supposed to meet up with someone who I had the idiocy of assuming I had a close friendship with; and he totally blew me off. Basically, it pissed me off so bad that I don't have any intention on speaking with him ever again. I figured the fact that we live in entirely different states and never ever see each other or get to hang out or anything was means to make plans with me and get to see me in person. Apparently that's too much to ask.
Soooooo.... That part of the trip sucked kinda, but what can ya do. I definitely finally come to the conclusion and realization that I can't have these types of people in my life if I plan on getting anywhere.. I won't go into details, but it was a good thing we never met up.
I got to see a lot of really amazing stuff in AZ and I got to miss a giant snow storm that hit Colorado while I was gone... Which was pretty rad.
We took a good amount of pics, and maybe a mini SG set also... If we ever edit anything. PSSSH (Hint hint Neal, get off your bum and work on the OLD SET!)
I guess I'm pretty happy to be home. Sleeping in my own bed is nice and I will never take that for granted again. Hotels are so uncomfortable.
And I get to see my pretty little girl again so I couldn't be happier. I am considering moving out of Colorado if I get the chance (and guts). Haha.
Hope all of you are having a great week!
