Well, this coming monday is my one month anniversary of my release from rehabilitation, and my one month "check-up" at the hospital. From there we'll see about my plans in the future, mainly outpatient therapy, probably in downtown Philly.
Recently I just starting moving my knee/lower leg. It only happens during leg spasms, but I can control it, meaning it's not a controled spasm (which you can start, but not stop. I can stop it). My Physical Therapist says this is really really good and it's a big step. So i'm pretty excited about it.
I'm starting to make a lot of new friends (online, albeit) but I'm still working on getting a new life together, one where I can enjoy life in a wheelchair and not be so hung up on the way things used to be and what I can't do anymore. I want to get a set style, my own style that people can really identify me with. Before this I really kinda just lounged around when it came to fashion. Now of course, I'm not a real fashion-savvy person, and I don't care what's hot at the moment - I wear what I like, but I sort of just wore plain clothing, or styles from different "genres". I also want to get back into photography. I really wanna do some work on model photography. Anyone interested in modeling?

Here's my advice (not that you asked for it, feel free to tell me to shut up): Whatever, you can move, move it. A lot. Just keep moving you leg as far as you can as often as you can. Try to move it just a bit more or a bit farther every day.
