OMG, creepy fucking humans messaging me through AIM.
In other news: My luck may finally be improving. Life is pretty good right now. Started on friday when I randomly found $40 on the roof at that debacle Moirae and I went to. It's only gotten better since then.
I'm currently doing something completely out of character. I was handed a stack of Fugazi this morning, and was told to listen to it. And so I am. Yes dear humans, I'm listening to punk music. I know, I know- who am I and what have I done with Kage?
Crazy busy times are a'comin'. I'm supposed to do the makeup on this next film, I have Opera for a week in september, the same week of which is not only the SF showing of IKPFM, but also SG Burlesque. I wanted to go to one of the SF shows because the Boardwalk is evil, and I have prior engagments both evenings- movie, then Cosi fan Tutte opening night. So it looks like Burlesque at the Boardwalk. Boooooo to the Boardwalk.
This week:
Thursday: PopScene!
Friday: Snakes on a Plane + Party. All SG Sac humans shall be in attendance, unless absence has been cleared with me first. (ie. out of the state, military intelligence- for these things humans will be forgiven)
Saturday: Work + State Fair with Joker_c
Sunday: Work plus another meeting, this one Loss Prevention. Joy.
Next weekend: I think that's the weekend Subrosa is staying with Moirae and I. Since I haven't had a real conversation with 'Brosa in weeks, I have no idea if he's still turning up or not. I have the whole weekend off, so at the very least I'll be able to help with the movie that weekend.
So far the first two weekends in September are clear- that third week though, is going to kill me:
Sept 12-13: Dress Rehersals for Cosi fan Tutte
Sept 14: San Francisco Premier of "I Kill People For Money"
Sept 15: Opening night of Cosi fan Tutte
Sept 16: Burlesque @ the Boardwalk. Booo. I might just skip again this year.
Sept 17: Matinee for Cosi fan Tutte
Sept 18: (monday) I shall sleep the sleep of the dead, and make no mistake. My carcass will not rouse itself for anything or anyone.
Sept:19: Closing night of Cosi fan Tutte
Later that month begins a gaggle of shows I have to go to:
Sept 30: Warp 11 @ the Blue Lamp Lounge.
Oct 15: Covenant/Rotersand/Imperative Reaction @ The DNA Lounge
Oct 19: She Wants Revenge @ Empire
Oct 28: KMFDM/CombiChrist/Panic Drives Human Herds @ The Mezzanine

And at some point, Tango lessons with Joker_c. Which will be odd because he is a full 12 inches taller then I. Then I will come home and force Moirae to practice with me. It's a good thing I can dance in stilletoes.
I'm sorry I don't have anything deep or meaningful to share at the moment. I'll try to think of something and add it on. Wait: I just thought of something that is particulalry poignant to me at the moment no matter how contrived it may sound: You always find what you are looking for in the last place you ever expect it to be.
