I am going on a date tonight - going to go see the Giants/Dodgers game in SF. This will be my first baseball game I have ever seen live.

As for the CCA, its a scam and a total rip-off. I go to City College and learn just as much for a lot less money. My chef went to the CCA and he has horrible things to say about it. Don't get me started though. I'm liable to never stop!

Yes the Chinese New Year parade is Sunday at 1pm in.. where else... China Town! I go there much more than I used to since I started taking care of Livia.. (the adopted Chinese girl of the couple I am living with) , but have never been to the parade... I am very excited! plus... I am supposed to go to China in the late fall with them to pick up their second... so China has become a very large part of my life this year and in my future...

Do you get the penny saver in Oakland? I usually check it out to find rummage sales and estate sales. Rummage sales are scarce (I only find local rummage sales once every month or two) but they have the best stuff and cheap prices! My theory of them having the best stuff is that it's usually at church's and the ladies (usually older ladies) there get rid of stuff from their closets which usually always includes vintage jems!

The biggest incluence on me of all in making films - I had no idea what I was watching or why, but talk about a film school. Right now, 24 hours a day, TCM takes care of my fixes for films insofar as showing stuff I've never seen before.
Any trivia I can come up with about BVD would come from varied Russ Meyer books that are here and about, which I really recommend. Not whole lots about BVD in any of them, pretty much the same stuff about stuido (Fox) going bugfuck about what he was doing. But lots about Erica Gavin, say, who is now a huge Woman's Rights Support Leader and Lesbian Rights Leader.
SOMEWHERE IN TIME - sort of a guilty pleasure that Z Channel, I just found out, made popular enough to last to this day - a little romance with tons of audience made in the 70s.
