The Habit of Creativity
I don't really have it, I have the impulse towards it, but the actual nitty gritty of doing the work. Not so good. It often feels like work. Pulling it out of me. I don't really know how some of you crazy fucks do it - have a day job and then still do other projects.
The people who build robots or programs or do photography (with that endless editing). The initial impulse I find fairly easy - the first draft, the first half, the key idea
It's the completion that's the bitch, the quality.
What keeps you driven, keeps your energy high? Your sense of impatience at bay. How do you immerse yourself in the creativity and have an end in mind, but not rush to be there?

Will definitely go back. Maybe a good place to shoot a set!
I often wish I were one of them. I like to blame my shortcomings in this regard on my day job.
I have the ideas, but lack the talent to see them through, and the patience to develop the talents.
However, and again, this only makes me more appreciative of those who do.
