Weirdest moment that I have experienced in a really long time:
I was riding with Adam on our way to his place tonight to watch the hockey game, veg, and play monopoly. We are driving along Fernwood street and approach Pandora. We see this ambulance moving very slowly almost to the intersection. It has its lights and sirens going. In from, to the right of the ambulance is a very heavy woman, walking in the middle of the road.
She approaches the intersection and the light changes green, we cannot go forward. She walks slowly through the intersection yelling things to noone. The ambulance, still with its lights and sirens going slowly follow behind her. She crosses the interesection and approaches our car, head on. We arent moving, we are waiting to be able to go forward. She glares at us. I make Adam lock the doors. She moves to our left side and keeps walking. Ambulance still following. She is yelling something to the effect of: "Just hit me, kill me" We soon realise that she is insane. As if she were suicidal, she would be on a busy street or highway. She walks past our car, still yelling and glaring and makes her way. The light is now red, so we watch her in the mirror as we wait to go.
Two things pop into my head:
1. Why is the ambulance following her? Why not just tackle her and take her to the hospital?
2. What is the point? It is stupid.
I just wanted to share this with you.
It was seriosuly the most peculiar thing that I have encountered in a long time.
MAy I also say, it was dark out. And everyone was stopped. Confused, staring at her, wondering why she was walking in the middle of the road, and why the ambulance was just following her, as if she were parading.
