i try so hard to be openminded and not snobbish. but its apparently its rush week and the fraternity across the street has been chanting and playing the most repetitive hiphop radio station ever for 3 days straight. im sick and stuck at home and i really want to smash their faces in. or at the very least, purchase a bullhorn and assail them with my opiniated lectures on how sad and pathetic the notion of fraternities is. these little pencil dicks need to chant and bid and pledge and beg to have some fags cordially invite them to be friends. ugh.
and now i just hate myself for being such a judgemental bitch. i really try to fit in here but i always resort to snobbery which, thanks dr.freud, I KNOW is a thinly veiled defense mechanism, or so my boy insists. he is so damn open minded, frat boys taunt him on the streets and call him a fag for his long hair and tight pants. just the other day someone yelled "cheer up emo fag" and all he was doing was walking down the street. and still, he loves it here and has made a ton of friends. he even learned to play raquetball with some frat boys he met at school. i met someone at school. a girl in a good charlotte sweatshirt who asked me if i was "scene" and then professed her love for yellowcard while i fought the dual urges to laugh, cry and punch her.
i am such a dork. i was inexplicably overjoyed to see that my friends list is now 2 rows!! thanks joshof13thfloor

Righto on the Frat thing. I never liked 'em. Although I have a few friends that joined them when they went off to college. I just find the whole idea annoying, and I'm quite happy that my art college would never have anything like them.
