I saw Sucker Punch. It was dreadful. That said, I don't regret it. I own Shoot 'Em Up and Dead Or Alive on DVD, so it's evident that I'm a fan of the odd movie that goes completely over the top. I'm not saying I'm a fan of this, but I've seen worse. The action/imagination sequences were great though, and I'm a fan of John Hamm in any situation.
The offshot of this is that I now want to take my camera and my extensive gun collection, find some suitably minded and corsetted girls and re-enact a scene or two for the sake of a good photo. It'll probably never happen though.
Speaking of photos, after a bit of a personal meltdown over the quality of the images I was producing over the last few weeks, I've been revisiting my love of B&W to try and capture the style I want properly. I think I'm starting to get it exactly as my mind sees it.

I like the first and last. The middle two lack some drama, but were candids that I couldn't really do much about. I wish I had a situation where I could actually control. The only people I know who are ok with me taking their picture is the team (more than ok, I've had everything from personal and heartfelt thanks to one of their mothers calling me to thank me for the work I was doing. God knows how she got my number, because the son in question didn't even have it). I don't think I'm anywhere remotely close to being good enough to warrant asking someone to model for me, but I feel like I need to if I want to figure out where to go from here.

For others, it was a hard uphill battle, but they believed in themselves, and they made it happen.
You have connections, and i think are starting to feel abit more cinfident that you can, in fact, do something in that vein.
You only live once my friend, just fucking go for it.
Your photography is solid, and getting better all the time.
Talk to Ross, and get better at being social/comfortable with local potential models and just go for it.
