figured it was time for an update.
worked today. it was actually pretty fun. there was Raisa, Nikki, Brenda, Steven closing, and Patrick was really being easy going. i think it was cause raisa and nikki were there..he wants both their asses
i was early for work, so i stopped into torrid to look for a shirt to wear, cause the one i was wearing kept riding up and i felt insecure in it (good low v neck, but really clingy on my gut), i tried on a few shirts, found the perfect halter. i bought it, i really shouldn't have spent the money, but oh well. i get paid at the end of the week, and i haven't treated myself in a while.
found out nikki is leaving jc penney's. her last day is the 31st. she's going to be a receptionist at a funeral home, making $10/hour. gonna miss her.
me and her spent like an hour just talking about stupid things our friends do. i bitched about kristin and the little scene she made last month for pretty much the whole time.
saw part of the trailor for the da vinci code today. they say it hasn't even started production yet and wont be out until next year. gives me time to actually read the book. i watched some special, delving into what was true and what could possible be true about the book on the history channel a while ago, got me very interested in reading the book. i was already infatuated with the idea of jesus having a daughter and shit. a sophomore girl in my stained glass class in my last year of high school introduced that theory to me, long before that book was out. she was a good christian girl, but had heard this story, and was questioning things...she seems to lean towards that idea. i loved how open minded she was. i'm not in any way religious, but i do love the mythology of many religions. christianity is no expception, to me it's the same as greek myths.
Nietzsche had some very interesting ideas about christian mythology... i couldn't explain it with much confidance here, without typing the exact words from the book, and frankly i'm too tired to go dig out the book. i know it's from The Anti-Chirst though... near the end i believe. that whole book (Twilight Of The Idols/The Anti-Christ) was a big blur to me anyway.
