ok, i'll start off with the exciting news i got yesterday at work:
not only did i get next week off for spring break... i got it off PAID!!!! the whole week!!!!
so i will be sitting on my ass for a week and getting paid $6.90 an hour for it!!!! whoo hoo!! eat your hearts out!!!
i also got alot done yesterday before work too. i returned that bra i bought last month, and surprisingly they didn't give me any trouble for it. just gave me the $44 back! yay! then i finally found some sunglasses i kind of like at Hot Topic (blech, yeah i know. but i had a gift card, and i like big dark sunglasses, and they're hard to find so yeah.) i dont know if i'm actually going to keep them. it was either them or ones w/ pink stars on the sides. i thought those were a little too flashy for me.
anyway, i went to return those fucking two left feet maryjanes i got on saturday and since i still really wanted a pair i them call all over the state to find another pair in size 8...the guy finally found one at Desert Sky Pavillion...which i think is in Glendale...meaning very far away from me. they're holding them through today, but i'm going to have to call them eventually and ask them to hold them through tomorrow cause my mom offered to go pick them up for me. so yay! hopefully by sunday i'll have my cute lil' shoes!!
wendsday night arctcknight and my friend Kristin came over and we rode bikes around my neighborhood. went up to the old elementary school, played around on the jungle gym... he did some fucking hot gymnastic shit on one of the bar thingies...seriously it was a huge turn on! haha.
then we went to the park next door, and played on that sad little playground for a little while. that playground used to be the fucking coolest thing one earth! it was solid steel and in the summers here, it would fucking fry your skin! but it had this awesome metal merry-go-round thing...i remember all the big kids used to push us smallers ones on it really fast. and there used to be this cool wood and metal jungle gym, slide tower thing. and it was set up like a boat i guess...like it had a little wheel and all...but it was so fun as a kid...
unfortunatly a few years ago they tore all that stuff out and replaced it w/ plastic bullshit! and the sand was replaced by woodchips. fucking WOODCHIPS!! bah!
yeah all the equipment sucks now! seriously, it's no fun at all!
when we went back to my house, kristin babbled non-stop about all sorts of bullshit. arctcknight fell asleep in my lap. hahaha. i cant blame him!
he also came over last night and we rode around some more (just me and him this time). we checked out the school again, another playground this time...the kindergarten one. hah...all that equipment has been replaced too. it's so sad. it was my elementary school for 8 years (pre-kindergarten, kindergarte, 1-6 grade)... now all three playgrounds have been ripped out and replaced by boring, plasic crap... so sad.
then we rode around the neighborhood some more. showed him some of my friend's houses. haha. fun stuff.
showed him the houses where i lost most of my childhood innocence. hahaha...long story.
and we looked at the local church's recent construction....
wow am i ever babbling.... long story short, we came back to my house watched some Conan, watched some Elimidate (haha!!! i love that shit)......
oh shit! i got paid today. better go look at that....
have $239 in the bank...not as good as i'd hoped. but i did spend quite a bit of money from my last paycheck...just gotta be more careful.

You lucky!!! I want a week off paid! But no, instead I'm working 12 hour days all week (including today and tomorrow) so someone else can have the week off!! Oh well... So sad about the playground.
