So yesterday I got a call from my mother saying that my next door neighbour, whom is practically an uncle to me as I was growing up, is very ill and has been hospitalised with but days to live. This evening I managed to go up and see him, most likely for the last time. He is in such a bad state that he is in an induced coma, there is barely anything left of him and it has really shaken me up as to how quickly he has deteriorated when 3 weeks ago he was up and doing some tree pruning with me at my parents house. I am aware at the futility of hope in these situations, but his wife (my Aunt in all but blood) stays strong through all of this as she cant drive or really leave the house without aid...
My mind seems to be full of doubts at this time despite all the good things that are approaching.
I had the most fabulous time at @skye wedding, twas such a blessing and a privilege to see two people come together, especially when I hold so much awe, admiration and love as I do for Skye and Daryl. I wish them a full and marvellous life together!
I have been accepted into Salford University to study Civil Engineering and will, with everything crossed, come out being able to do a job that doesn't attempt to kill me everyday with stupid hours and long driving hours.
Come August I shall also be moving in with two awesome lads @jesus and Jak whom some of you may know from various northern meets.
So here's to survival and happiness, be that in a bottle or preferably in the company of good friends and good thoughts.
Good night all
