I was watching Ghost World today, and Thora Birch's character has the light picture of a waterfall in her room--very 1978, tacky piece of shit really. That same picture was the centerpiece of various conversations at parties that my friend threw; her roommate had the same one.
I believe these pictures are going to take over the world. It's secret ploy to bring them back into every bedroom across America. Once this happens, the magical moving water will morph into an evil being and start killing all of the owners. After everyone is dead, they will create their own utopia where the only inhabitants are polynesian hula dancers who can shake their ass as the water continues to roll over the cliff. There will be no evolution; everything will remain in the image of the picture; everything will be fiber-optic.
