I like playing chess and risk-though i have never won a game of either. i always find myself on the defensive and never doing any damage to the other player.
in risk, i eventually end up in austrailia, holding off the enemy.
in chess i always have to use my move to keep the king out of checkmate, so i never make any stratigic moves on my part.
i'm sure this says something about my personality, but self-revelations are not what i'm looking for in a board game. maybe i should just stick to candyland.
i have had a five song rotation in my head, all songs i haven't heard in like months or YEARS (its no good):
1. hollaback girl
2. hold on loosely (but don't let go)
3. begins again by may gray (actually good)
4. linger by the cranberries
5. a direct tv commerical for an NFL package (its set up like a musical-and i can't stand it)
to you: cards or board games?
any songs stuck in your head?
p.s. after you get used to soy milk, real milk is kind of gross.

Ah, a fellow coffee drinker. I can see we are going to be freinds.
You should totally start studying Japanese like a crazy person. You don`t need to but evryone who you come with will be so impressed even if you can only read kana. (I recommend `Minna no nihongo` if you can get it.)
I dunno how hot it is where you are but it`s freaking hot here....
The job market is tight there too? Well I guess then the whole economy of the world is in a slump.. :s
Yeah I've got 5 years shop experience, but because of my health I can't do that anymore, so 5 years down the drain. And this is not the time to start all over again. *cries her eyes out*
Well of course it's not just the Euro. But they made a mistake calculating the guilder to the Euro. The guilder back then was balanced to the Mark, which was calculated too high when we turned. So now, the income are too low (of course they were all calculated to the cent) and the prices are way high!
The Minister of finance acknowledges that they made a mistake now, but of course the damage has been done.
But the war in Iraq also made things worse together with the fact the we thrived the years before and we were up for a depression any time soon. And then also the tsunami came.
They just did a poll of the people for a European constitution, but of course most of the countries voted "no", as did I personally.
And if they would have had a poll about the Euro before they brought it through, I think our people would have voted "no"as well. Just as Britain did, but I guess Britain is in a slope too, I'm afraid there is a lot of unemployment all over the world. I guess there are just too many people, and that's also something we have to do something about, but I'm afraid not a lot of people share my opinion on that.
I know I will at least do what I think is best and not have any children. Also because I never wanted children anyway, but also because this is not the world to dump them in. If I ever had children, they would deserve better.
