today i'm going to tell a story
a ghost story--about a haunted coffee shop--that i work at.

I've seen the ghost several times, he wears a suit and a fedora and usually stands on the staircase. He likes National Public Radio, and Miles Davis, and sounds off the doorbell if I don't say hello when i walk in. The other morning i tried playing cowboy junkies before we opened and i heard a noise from the kitchen. the radio in the kichen was on full blast--on NPR. I had already been there for half an hour in silence, so i know it wasn't left on from the night before. Apparently, to him, Margo Timmons does not have a soothing voice.

Any drink you want is on me. I would suck the alcohol out of a deodorant stick, so I'm not picky.
