I just got home from the METALLICA show at the Manchester MEN arena, and it was one of the most awesome shows i have ever seen!! I have loved them for some 18 years and tonight was my first time catching them live. They played everything from new stuff to old classics and nobody was left dissappointed. The arena was sold out with 20,000 people there all going nuts! The stage was set in the centre of the arena with mics all around so any member could choose which mic to use, so the audience could get close up to them, and Lars did his trademark walking around in between songs. The band looked and sounded like they all really enjoyed themselves too.
Its nights and times like this that you never forget and reminds me why im so passionate about music. Nothing else in this life makes me feel the way good, real music does.
