Well, I awoke to a message from my good buddy Battalioness that cheered me up, despite still feeling no physically better due to the cold.
Am sick cat-sitting at my wife's house today (all day) and hoping to get another chunk of manuscript done. Only eleven days to go till my third retest in the neverending quest to get my coverted driving license!!
Will have to stay away from the PC today or I'll end up spending all day playing 'Half-Life' instead of working!
You really don't grow up, the older you get, the toys just get more spectacular (and expensive).
Back to my shit-eating job with Royal Mail tomorrow and I just don't feel up to it, much less bothered about it. Still, my sick record is (now) good these days and I'd like to keep it that way, so I'll probably drag myself in at 4am Tuesday dying.
God I need a holiday - someplace warm were I can read books on the balcony and drink iced Jack all bloody day
