My car's fixed!
And runs better than ever! I mean that! The parts they fixed must've been bad from the start. Watch out for me! ZZZZZZOOOOOOOMM!! i'm such a little boy sometimes
I just got a shipment of CDs and DVDs:
Jamiroquai - Synkronized
Ani DiFranco - Knuckle Down
NOW TWICM 16 - various <I know, I know>
Nelly - Sweat
Cube
Serenity
and....
Drumroll please...
V For Vendetta!!!!!
I'm trying to decide if I should watch it without Brankauti. Watching it again won't be a problem. Just curious if she wants to watch it with me the first time we see it on DVD. I'll ask her tonight.
Maybe I'll ask my Mom and Sis if they want to come down and watch it. hmm. My Mom is going back to Missouri on the 13th. And she NEEDS to see this movie. And I'm afraid she won't on her own.
Brankauti has some news she's not telling yet...go bug her.
I saw a cool job advertised in Denmark. Hmm. I may have to send my resume. What an adventure that would be. It's troubleshooting and such on windmills. I'd actually be fighting for a renewable and 'clean' power source! Hmmm, again.
My current job is making me happy/tired/angry/comfortable/busy/and bored all at the same time. I love my coworkers. My boss is a tool. I would have to try to get fired. I get to do cool, innovative things. I get paid okay. If I stay much longer, I won't be fit to do anything other than what I'm doing right now. I have far too many tasks on my desk right now; half of my balls have already hit the floor. It would be so easy to stay and make a career doing what I'm doing and focus and getting enjoyment out of the rest of life.
I hope I win Powerball tonight. If I don't win, I hope no one does, so the pot will get bigger. If someone does win, I hope it's someone that will do great things with the money. 'Great' being relative, of course.
What would you do? Tonight's jackpot is $155M. That's approx. $48M after taxes/lump sum. What would you do?
Me? I'd give half to charity. I mean, not like I earned that money. But I might get creative about giving to charity; hold a charity concert with my favorite musicians; set up a lab to 'cure' diabetes (I have some ideas on how to do this, just need money for a lab and good people around me); etc. I'd split the rest with Brankauti. I'd put 5M away, to live off the interest. For those keeping tally, that leaves me with $7M to play with. I'd spend 2 on homes, one in Indiana countryside, and one in downtown Boston. I'd set up my Mom and two Sisters and Brother-In-Law and two Nephews with homes (I think 2M should do that). The rest would be for travel and toys. Maybe a business or two.
