It is B-U-tiful outside. Too bad it's laundry day.

I saw an idiot on the highway the other day. He was going about 70 in a 65 when he came up behind a couple cars going about 68. He pulled into the passing lane and passed them in about 30 seconds. Oh, did I neglect to mention the ambulance with lights flashing and siren whailing, going about 85 that had to slam on its breaks when this idiot pulled in front of it? The ambulance actually had to pass this moron on the right. <gasp-sigh>

I bought invitations for my Billionth Second Party. So, if you want one, let me know.

I also bought Mardi-Gras beads.

I'm getting interesting feedback on what games to play in the afternoon. Baseball bat races, team balloon toss, three legged race, couples egg race, etc.

We had a minor flood in the kitchen yesterday. I really need to replace the plumbing that leaked. It's in place, but under too much tension. I hate that the drain parts for under sinks are all prefab. There's very little room for customization. I'll figure something out.

Brankauti's dad just bought himself a new tractor/mower. So, he's giving us his old one! Man, that's a relief. The lawn is getting a little long (mowed 6 times in 2 years).

We had a great dinner party on Monday. I was very proud of us. We had kabobs for an appetizer, salad in a bowl of parmesan, lobster tail on lemon fetticini with an alfredo sauce and grilled beef tenderloin over mashed potatos and string beans for entree, and a strawberry/cake/pudding/whipped cream/ice cream desert served in a wine glass. Took over 6 hours to prepare. But it was fun.
