Okay. Enough of that entry.
My Mom is awesome. She said she'd do the firedancing for my billionth second party. But her school (she's a teacher) doesn't let out until May 25th. During our conversation, I realized that she's about to turn 2,000,000,000! It happens on March 13th. That also means that on June 21st I become half the age of my Mom. I think that calls for a Mother-Son day.
I spent yesterday out at Woods Hole talking research with other scientists. Okay. I admit it. I'm a nerd of the Nth degree. I had a great time.
I gave my boss at big proverbial thumb-in-the-eye Wednesday. It was the last day of a experiment. It has been long standing tradition that on the last day of an experiment the chief scientist buys pizza for the whole crew. This time, when asked when 'pizza day' was, he said, "This protocol wasn't long enough to warrent pizza." Yes, the test was only 6 working days. But who cares. So, on the way to the lab Wednesday afternoon, I picked up pizzas. And I invited the whole crew for pizza, everyone except my boss that is. <mischievious grin>
I'm ordering custom mardi gras style beads for my party. I haven't heard back on price yet. I hope it isn't too much.
Battlestar Galactica was great last night.
Brankauti and I went duckpin bowling last weekend. We had a lot of fun. We're going again soon. She got a 121! I think that's the highest score in duckpin that I've ever seen in person.
Cat's crying. Gotta go.
ps I saw a bald eagle at the junction of 95 and 195 in Providence yesterday!!!
