*sigh* early morning blues. can't sleep. write, maybe?
Save the World In Vain
A dying allegiance to the once sought individuality
In order for a memorable mortality.
Lost to a sea of misconceptions and agonistic gospel,
We bow to a technological chapel;
Never understanding the selective conformity, the addled choice.
And to a road of perdition, to self-indulgence we must rejoice
As society is not individual, but a collective intelligence
Bent on self-will and not benevolence
The only voice of reason stands unnoticed:
The innocence of children is our Reaper and Savior,
And they stand prejudiced,
Without prior.
