Summer 2005

Hello, folks. I know it's been awhile since I've had a proper journal update so I thought I would take this time to do just that. I've been busy at work and spending as much time with the boy as possible before he goes back to Paris. I had a great time with him here and I think things are wonderful between us. He has left SG for several reasons, but of course I am still in contact with him so if you would like to get in touch with him, just let me know.

Every single weekend is busy from now until sometime in Mid-August, and by then who knows. This weekend is the weekend of the 4th, which is usually big family time, then the next is my grandpa's Army Reunion, then after that it's EC Camping, the fair the two weekends after that...so on and so forth. Then I leave to go to Ireland the last week of September.

I'm on my last three month membership here at SG. When it is up, like Rafi, I will not renew. There is a multitude of reasons for this, but I guess one of the main ones is I want to focus more time on my friends and family and work and Rafi. I want to read more and spend less time online. Plus, I'm thinking of going back to school. The point is, more and more I dislike the atmosphere around SG and I want to spend my time a bit more conductively. No doubt most of you will disagree.

But I think I might get a xanga. Or a livejournal or something. Who has those, and which is best? Of course I'll still have my email and such and I won't be leaving until AFTER the EC camping trip. You can try to change my mind, of course.

Anyways, summer is in full swing around these parts. Days are filled with BBQ's and going out on the lake...work is stupid, as per usual, but I'll survive.

Anyways. I wish I was on the beach, right now, being fanned by Angelina Jolie and Orlando Bloom, sipping a Mai-Tai, reading a sexy romance novel, with a plate full of cheese and triscuts.
