There were two items of interest on "Marketplace", NPR's financial news show. 1) Humboldt County in California is worried that if the current attempt to legalize marijuana in CA passes, the local, illegal, growers will be pushed out of the business by big corporations setting up operations. Imagine R.J. Reynolds planting 600+ acres and building warehouses and automated rollling factories. Hilarious. 2) While the average unemployement rate is 9.7, the blue collar rate is between 15% and 20%, however the financial sector is only 6%. So the guys responsible for the mess are still happily trying to find new ways to squeeze the last dollar out of us. On a completely unrelated note, I buy my bulk ammuniton from Cheaper than Dirt. Just saying.
