Was hellsvuh late to my ASP.NET training course... had to drive out to Point Richmond JUST to access my cruddy company e-mail, so I could find the confirmation and subsequently the location in SF. BLEHT! puke

however... once there, I realized how much of that stuff I studied for the past month really paid off. The class is juvenile introductory material, and I spent a majority of the time doing what I felt like on the 'puters... Got lunch in downtown SF, spent the rest of the day breezing through shit, and got off early. Yippie!

When the instructor found out how quickly I was working with the stuff, she asked me my background. After telling her, she informed me that I'm the most advanced in the class, and that I should probably just check out the sample apps for better guidance. Then I let her know that my company BUILT the sample apps... anyway, long story short, this week will be a fucking breeze. biggrin

Now, just to be on time everyday... whatever

rock on man. How did you get set up with that course anyway? I gotsa get me somma dem certs or something...it's really irritating, cuz I know a lot about IT but without certs and 5 years experience all you get is the blowoff around here.
Other than that? Let's see. Recovering from my brutal weekend at Pixar, working on a new track (this one has a much shinier techy Commercial Suicide feel) and preparing to bite the temp-agency-bestowed-grunt-work bullet.

I see he called you. It was nothing against you. Nothing you directly said. Just some things you mentioned brought up some inner feelings for me, and brought some subjects from the back of my wandering head. I tried to explain to him that you didnt start the problem, and that I had already been thinking about such things anyway, but he wasnt to be deterred from his own course.

Sadly, he didnt take the time to listen to what I was saying either, so I got really frustrated, and just went to bed.
