Hello all you beautiful ladies and gentlemen of the Suicide Girl world, and happy 4th of July to those who celebrate it. :)
I got to spend the day with two of my favorite combat veterans and provide them with a safe environment to pass this day of remembrance with positive experiences. I can't think of a better way to thank and honor them for the sacrifices they made when our government called upon them following the attacks on September 11th, 2001.
It is my hope that one day they are once again able to participate in and enjoy the fireworks that the rest of us set off in celebration without fear of flashbacks and anxiety attacks, until that day arrives I will continue to offer up my home for their safe haven, despite my desire to be among those creating the noise and the lights.
They need this more than I need that.
